My hearts desire is to encourage and bring truth to Believers. I am not making any money from my writing and prefer it this way so my reward may be in heaven. With each passing year, I am closer to the rapture or leaving this place to be with the Lord. I remember when I was pregnant how much fear I felt about the delivery of the baby. As time went on, the fear was replaced by a need to just have the pregnancy over with, because of the discomfort. I no longer found myself fearing the delivery but rather welcoming it.
Now that I am in my 70’s and experiencing the reasons why older people get up slower, walk slower, moan more, I am finding myself more enthusiastic about being with the Lord. I am looking forward to having that new body without the flaws this current one has. I have heard that there is no stress there, no fear, no more trials, just the angels, the saints and God Himself. Sounds heavenly to me.
Nevertheless, I must continue to let the Lord use me while I am here. I do not expect to reach millions like Billy Graham or some of the great preachers of our time, but maybe I can reach a few that would not have made the right decisions without my input. I have so much to be grateful for. The Lord has seen fit to bless me, despite all my flaws. He has made a way for me when times got tough. He takes the time to lead me when I must make critical decisions. I have also found that if I do not listen the first time, He will tell me again, until I do. He is so patient and long-suffering towards me.
An example of this is when He told me to purchase a house. I heard it in a dream. I thought… there is no way I can purchase a house, I have very little money in the bank, my credit is dismal. So, I did nothing. I had the dream a second time; again, I did nothing. The third time, I thought “this must be really urgent, even though I cannot see a way, I am going to start looking for a house to purchase” Well, God orchestrated the entire thing. He put people in my path to direct me, people to help me, people to go to bat for me. I only had to step out in faith and start the process.
Today, I have been living in that house for ten years. It has gone up in value tremendously since it was built. I say to myself, “you are living in a miracle.” If I had to rent in today’s market, I would be paying a lot more than I do for my mortgage. I am also trusting Him to help me pay off the mortgage. In the meantime, I have never had a late payment. WE SERVE A LOVING, CARING GOD. HE IS A GREAT PROVIDER AND WANTS ONLY THE BEST FOR HIS CHILDREN.
