DATA: Trump’s ‘MAGA Inc’ PAC Spent More Efficiently AND Effectively Than All Its Opponents.

Campaign finance data shows that Make America Great Again Inc. (MAGA Inc.) was far more efficient in its fundraising efforts and deployment of resources than both the pro-DeSantis Never Back Down Super PAC and the pro-Haley SFA Fund in the second half of 2023. The MAGA Inc. Super PAC, which is supporting former President Donald Trump’s bid to retake the White House, spent less than a quarter of what Never Back Down did on fundraising efforts while simultaneously raising over three times more in donations.

Likewise, the pro-Trump Super PAC spent nearly $20 million less on independent expenditures than Haley’s SFA Fund. Despite the SFA Fund’s large pro-Haley ad buys in Iowa and New Hampshire, Trump won both Republican primary contests by historic numbers, with Haley finishing in a distant third and second place, respectively.

The data also confirms claims that DeSantis’s Never Back Down operation squanderedmillions of donor dollars on consultants and operational costs — with only a fraction of its massive budget spent on actual campaign efforts. Despite boasting a $130 million budget in the spring of 2023, Never Back Down spent $81.1 million on operating expenditures while only raising an additional $14.5 million in the second half of 2023. The Super PAC’s chief strategist, Jeff Roe, and his consulting firm, Axiom Strategies, were amongst the primary beneficiaries of the high operational spending.
