What shall we then say to these things, if God be for us who can be against us (Romans 8:31). You, plus God, are a majority. There is nothing we cannot accomplish when God is on our side. How do we know that God is on our side? When we have received Jesus as our Savior, asked for forgiveness of our sins, and invited Him into our lives.
When we are born- again we become a part of the Kingdom of God (1 John 3:1) This is a Kingdom that operates within the world and is unknown to those who are not saved. In other words, there is a Kingdom made up of born- again believers, the “church” that is operating in the world today (John 17:14-15).
The church is described as the bride of Christ. He said that He is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle. The church is in the world but not of the world (John 17:16). We have been plucked out of the hands of satan (I use lower case to show no respect) and His influence over us. We are no longer under the curse God pronounced when Adam and Eve sinned, we have been set free.
We now have access to the throne of God and stand blameless before Him, clothed in the righteousness of Jesus. We have been cleansed and are now clothed in Jesus’ robe of righteousness. It is a free gift that only has to be claimed by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
The world may try to come against you, but greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4) We not only have the backing of God but also His angels who He can use to fight for us. We only have to read the end of the book (bible) to know that victory is ours. Our triumph is assured. So today, let us have the confidence of our God given rights and walk in victory.
