School Bus Drivers Told to Stop Wearing Christmas Sweaters

School bus drivers in a Pennsylvania school district have been told not to decorate their buses with Christmas decorations. They were also told not to wear Christmas outfits.

“If you have decorated your bus with anything specific to the Christmas Holiday or any other decorations relating to a specific religion, please remove them immediately,” read a memo from the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District.

“In addition, employees are instructed not to wear clothing related to Christmas or any other religious holiday,” they added.

The memo also says all district offices and buses “are to refrain from playing Christmas music” or music affiliated with any religion.

News of the Christmas ban enraged local citizens.

“This is infuriating,” one parent wrote on social media. “We as parents are to accept and learn about kids identifying as cats, its, he’s, she’s, theys, horses, squirrels, dogs, diversity and all inclusion is taught at workplaces and also schools ad nauseum …… none of this makes sense, none of it.”

Once word of the memo leaked, the school district clarified its orders by saying they only wanted bus drivers to be inclusive.
