TRUMP PICKS UP NORTH DAKOTA SENATOR’S ENDORSEMENT

North Dakota Sen. Kevin Cramer (R) has strongly endorsed President Donald J. Trump in the 2024 presidential election, shifting his focus to the dominant candidate on the heels of North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum’s (R) recent decision to suspend his presidential campaign.

Sen. Cramer shared his endorsement on X, writing, “I am honored to stand with Donald J. Trump as he embarks on a mission to restore peace, prosperity and freedom in our great nation.”

He further urged, “Let’s consolidate Republican support around the leader of our GOP and ensure a Republican victory in 2024. work with him to Make America Great Again!”

Before endorsing Trump, Sen. Cramer had endorsed Gov. Burgum, giving him “big time” support, according to NBC News. However, the North Dakota governor’s presidential bid failed to gain steam in 2023, resulting in his decision on Monday to suspend his campaign.

Gov. Burgum has not yet announced if he will be issuing an endorsement for any other Republican presidential candidate at this time.

President Trump has continued to rack up endorsements headed into the 2024 presidential primary election, which is just a few weeks away, starting with the Jan. 15 Iowa caucuses. He recently picked up endorsements from two other former 2024 Republican presidential candidates, conservative radio personality Larry Elder and businessman Perry Johnson.

In November, Trump garnered the endorsement of Gov. Greg Abbot, R-Texas, as well as Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R).

President Trump is also in perhaps the best position he has ever been in ahead of the Republican primary election season, winning the lion’s share of nationwide GOP voters’ support.
