OPEN WEDNESDAY ARTICLE, CHOOSTERS – 12/04/24

Good Morning Choosters

Just so you know, there is a lot going on construction wise here at our house. Plus Im organizing the rooms and getting our house in order since having to completely change our home so hubs can get around in his wheelchair. I tore four rooms out last year and had to find places for stuff until I could go through it and get rid of what I could and keep what I wouldnt dare part with.

The electricians are still working on the generator and propane tank and we still have one more electrical panel that needs to be replaced. I needed more space in the panels for the elevator and Im installing a swim spa for hubs around February/March 2025. Its a lot of work.

We got the plans yesterday for the elevator and its absolutely gorgeous. Hopefully they will start the work in the next couple of weeks. It will take 30 days. Its a really big construction job. The contractor is also doing hardwood bamboo flooring in the family room where hubs is and in our master because you cannot use a wheelchair on plush shag carpet. On top of that he is also exchanging our fireplace that isnt working. Hubs and I was going to do the fireplace but then his accident happened last year and here we are.

Im trying to get all these jobs completed before inauguration because you know I am positive the news will be flying come January 21st on top of pressers etc., and we will want to be coving it all.

Just need you to understand my number one priority in my life is my hubs. I am trying to get things done around here to make his life better and the best I can make it for him.
