OPEN THANKSGIVING ARTICLE, CHOOSTERS – GIVE THANKS – 11/28/24

Good Morning Choosters

Normally, I do an article about how Thanksgiving started and its history, but today, I want to do something different. I have been in an unconstitutional gag order since January 26, 2023 when my hubs had his accident at work after being a Locomotive Engineer for 52 years with a perfect safety record, and broke his back and became a paraplegic and has almost died 6 times and actually died twice and God brought him back.

Our life changed forever.

I want to tell you some very important things Im very thankful for these past 22 months.

It has all been very eye opening for me these past 22 months. God never left my hubs, or me, and never allowed the devil to steal him and take his life. Many have no clue what he has been through because I wasnt able to speak. The devil tried so many times to take him and God wouldnt allow it. I went through many days of praying non stop for 48 hours at a time. My hubs is one of the best men I know and a God fearing man as well. I love him and he loves me, we are soul mates, best friends, man and wife and lovers. He is the type of man that would give you the shirt off his back and never ask for anything in return. This is why my hubs and I are one in the same. We are built from the same cloth.

Its been a long road for us since January 26, 2023 but God was always with us and protecting us. My Sister In Law, AKA my special sister and Very Special Sister Mama T and my other blondie special sister from another mother Miss Martha, (she gonna kill me LOL) has been my rocks through all of this since day 1 and are still here today helping me whenever I need it.

You will always learn who your true friends are when tragedy strikes your life. Sadly, all those people that used to come over for decades for parties, entertainment and Holiday dinners, drinks and what not and going out to dinner when we always paid the bill have been no where to be seen since January 26, 2023.

Every morning when I pray I always ask for God’s wisdom and God’s guidance. On July 10th when my hubs had a minor heart attack and I had to take him to ER and they admitted him, I made it a requirement that his 24 hour nurses had to be with him while he was in the hospital. Im thankful that God guided me to this. On July 12th when hubs had a stress test and the Dr said all was good and he went back to his room, 5 minutes later he died, thankfully his 24 hour nurse was with him and brought him back, he then died again and the Drs brought him back with the paddles etc. Even though I didnt know it at the time, God knew what was going to happen and guided me to make sure his nurses were with him 24/7 while he was in the hospital.

I truly believe this was all God’s doing and nothing will ever change my mind.

I believe this is because we are both highly connected to God and because of all the prayers from all of you, Choosters, during this time. There is power in prayer. I thank all of you Choosters for all the prayers you prayed for my hubs and me. I thank you Choosters for being here for me during such a difficult time in our life and helping me through it even when I could not say anything because I wasnt allowed to.

All you Choosters are very special to me and I truly do love you and I thank you for always being here and all the prayers you have prayed for me and my hubs. Thank you for always understanding when I have to do Open Articles.

You are all very special Choosters. I give you all the Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
