Today is a busy, busy day. Got my contractor coming and the elevator guy, the one that actually installs the elevator. Contractor only builds the housing for the elevator. You cannot believe the process to get an elevator. Things will go quick and smooth with the elevator guy. Should only be 5 weeks out from having it completed.
I will say this, I can teach you what I didnt know, this has been the worst experience in my life. If you ever hire a contractor for anything and sign a contract, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN END DATE IN THE CONTRACT & IT STIPULATES EVERYDAY AFTER ENDING DATE IS A $1,000.00 A DAY FINE! I didnt know this in the beginning because my hubs has always been my contractor, and this is why my contractor has taken 9 flipping months to build the shell for the elevator. Its been a huge learning experience for me. My hubs says I am way more patients then he would ever be LOL I have done a lot of cussing and a lot of throwing fits. The frustration is more then you will ever know.
