Liberal media outlet Raw Story has taken notice of Donald Trump’s weekend endorsements. In a Sunday piece crafted by David McAfee, it is pointed out that despite Webster attending Donald Trump’s New York trial, he was not a recipient of the Trump endorsement. It seems as if some Democrats saw the non-endorsement of Trump for what it was.
Former prosecutor and former Republican Ron Filipkowski weighed in on the situation:
“Webster went all the way up to NYC this week to humiliate himself outside Trump’s trial hoping to get the endorsement to fend off another MAGA primary challenger,” he said on Sunday. “Not to be. I hope everyone who does this loses. I’d rather deal with real MAGA than phonies.”
Donald Trump appears to have been selective on his current endorsements. Also omitted by Trump were Laurel Lee and Kat Kammack from Florida’s Congressional delegation.
