We all like heroes. Heroes have the courage and the power to keep us from harm. Jesus is the true Superman. He is not bound by the physical laws of nature. He can pass through walls. He did this when he appeared to His disciples, even though the doors were shut. John 20:26 “And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!”
Jesus can walk on water. He can multiply a small quantity and make it much more. He did this with the 5 loaves and 2 small fish. Death cannot hold Him. He rose from the grave. His mission is to save mankind. His mission is to give us superpowers as well. He says, John 14:12 “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”
Jesus is governed by love. He loves all mankind. He says in John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Jesus is my Superhero. There is nothing that Jesus cannot do.
