President Donald Trump has once more suggested that if he wins another term in office, Prince Harry could be deported from the United States if it’s discovered to have lied about his drug use on his visa application.
On Tuesday, Nigel Farage of GB News questioned Trump about whether Prince Harry should receive “special privileges” if it turns out he lied on his visa application.
This inquiry comes as the royal’s immigration status is tangled in a legal dispute following his admission of illegal drug use in his memoir.
“No. We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied, they’ll have to take appropriate action,” Trump is quoted as saying in a preview of the interview.
When asked if “appropriate action” could involve deportation, Trump did not offer a straightforward response.
“Oh, I don’t know. You’ll have to tell me. You just have to tell me. You would have thought they would have known this a long time ago,” the former president said.
In Prince Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” he openly discussed his past drug use, including cocaine, cannabis, and psychedelic mushrooms. Such revelations could potentially lead to the rejection of his American visa application.
