Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven. The text goes on to describe the various seasons such as planting and reaping; living and dying; weeping and laughing, etc.

Sometimes we have the power to change our seasons. The bible tells us that words have power. We can speak blessings into our lives by what we say or we can curse our own lives. Here is an Example: If something goes wrong we can say something such as: “why does this always happen To me? I am always struggling”. This type of response will only draw more negative experiences into your life. You can also respond by saying something such as: “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17) I know that God is fighting my battles. I know that He is working all things for my good. I am more than a conqueror through Christ”.

I encourage you to say positive affirmations every morning. Speak good things into your life. You can say things such as: I am going to accomplish my dreams; I have the favor of God; I am not a victim I am victorious in Christ; something good is going to happen to me today. You can think of others to add.

If you catch yourself saying a negative thing into your life, cover it with something positive. For instance if you slip and say something such as: I do not have enough money. Cover it with: but I know that God is my source and He will supply.

Remember God spoke the world into existence and when God lives in you in the form of the Holy Spirit, you can speak blessings into your life.
