wanted to make an open article tonight after TG brought some interesting information to my attention last night.
On our website as you know, we have Mods, I love them all and you all do great work here. I am very appreciative of everything you do.
I do not know if you remember, but about a month ago TG’s disqus account was completely deleted and he had to make a new disqus account. I was very puzzled about how his disqus account could just be deleted. It really did not make sense to me at the time.
Fast foreward to last night, TG noticed that 2 of his comments were modded by an AnnaB whom isnt a mod here and has literally no authority to come on our site and mod anyones comments. On further investigation, I noticed that AnnaB put a moderation of all comments by this user, TG…

So, I did ban this AnnaB last night because she has no authority coming on our site. I am very picky about who access the mod panel and the backend of our site. I have been doing this for well over 30 years professionally and I know the important things to allow and not to allow.
And, just now today as Im writing this article I am in the back mod panel and notice they have been modding everyone’s comments here and deleting the comments. They are in the deleted folder.
So, we do not to worry, we have options because I am the coder and the designer. My thing is as I have said many times when we opened our site that I wouldn’t go to another app for comment system if we ran into issues with disqus. We can just do comments through our website. You would have to fill out your email and name and then just comment as normal. All the comments would be on our site and none of this bullshit unapproved moderation of our comments by someone that isn’t even authorized to be modding our comments.
I have stated a number of times that I am a Constitutional lady, I live by my God given rights and no one is going to interfere with them. I mean this more then you even understand. Our site is run with no filtered or banned words. Just like in real life.
So, we need to discuss if you are all open to me removing disqus and our comments just being on our site. I want everyones opinion on this please.
