With the annihilation of our labor force due to authoritarian politicians executing tyranny over their little fiefdoms by mandating vaccinations, many professionals who worked all throughout COVID-19 to service us and protect us as now finding themselves out of a job. Many of the professionals are law enforcement. It makes sense. It’s happening in Democrat fiefdoms and they have always hated the police.

Some jurisdictions that are not run like totalitarian fiefdoms are offering jobs to professionals persecuted by the tyrants. One such place is the state of Alaska, which is now welcoming police officers who had the audacity to believe they have the God given right to determine what medicines go into their bodies.

Last week, Alaska Republican Governor Mike Dunleavy focused on the thousands of officers who lost their jobs because they refused to get vaccinated under vaccine mandates and said that police officers are welcome to come to Alaska and work in law enforcement.

The governor took to social media to give his message.

“Across the country, members of law enforcement are being targeted & even fired for refusing to either get vaccinated or disclose if they have been.

Alaska’s law enforcement community invites you to consider the 49th state where we back the blue.”

The governor’s tweet was in response to a story that came out of the Chicago Tribune that revealed numerous Chicago police officers who did not comply with the vaccine mandates after the city demanded that all state employees either get vaccinated or disclose their vaccine status.

Last week, Chicago authorities announced that any officers who refuse to comply with Chicago Democratic Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s mandate may face disciplinary action up to and including termination.

A spokesman for the Alaska Department of Public Safety, Dustin McDaniel, said this the agency has seen a rise in “lateral trooper applications” over the past year. Department of Corrections spokeswoman Betsey Holley said that the  1,064 positions available for correctional officers was filled for all but 95.
