A bipartisan group of House lawmakers sent a letter to demand answers from the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and President Joe Biden’s top medical adviser, the man many believe helped fund the scientists at China’s Wuhan lab do gain of function research that led to a leak of the COVID-19 virus that took millions of lives.
A nonprofit organization called the White Coat Waste Project that first revealed that US taxpayer money was being used to fund the Wuhan lab has now been looking at Dr. Anthony Fauci for another situation involving animal testing where dozens of Beagles were infected with disease-causing parasites to test an experimental drug on them.
Lawmakers in the House of Representatives, mostly Republicans, expect Fauci to explain himself for the allegations brought by the group that involve drugging puppies.
According to White Coat Waste, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not require that drugs be used to test on dogs, so the group is asking why the need for Fauci to do this kind of testing.
White Coat Waste says that forty-four beagle puppies were experimented on in a Tunisia, North Africa, lab, and allegedly some of the dogs had their vocal cords removed, so that the scientists could work without having to hear their continual barking. Oh, those poor scientists having to listen to puppies do what puppies do. These people are monsters.
From The Hill:
Leading the effort is Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), writing a letter to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) saying the cordectomies are “cruel” and a “reprehensible misuse of taxpayer funds.”
“Our investigators show that Fauci’s NIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive,” White Coat Waste told Changing America. “They also locked beagles alone in cages in the desert overnight for nine consecutive nights to use them as bait to attract infectious sand flies.”
Mace’s letter was signed by Reps. Cindy Axne (D-Iowa), Cliff Bentz (R-Ore.), Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.), Rick Crawford (R-Ark.), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.), Scott Franklin (R-Fla.), Andrew Garbarino (R-N.Y.), Carlos Gimenez (R-Fla.), Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.), Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.), Fred Keller (R-Pa.), Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), Lisa McClain (R-Mich.), Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.), Brian Mast (R-Fla.), Scott Perry (R-Pa.), Bill Posey (R-Fla.), Mike Quigley (D-Ill.), Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Calif.), Maria E. Salazar (R-Fla.), Terri Sewell (D-Ala.), Daniel Webster (R-Fla.) and Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.)
I can understand animal testing to work on breakthrough drugs that will cure diseases, but to use puppies when it’s not called for and to cut their vocal cords so that the barking doesn’t bother the scientists is a sick, sadistic manner in which to do research. I mean, show some respect for the animals. What they did was a cruel punishment for dogs behaving like dogs. This may just be the beg…
