ccording to a new report from Fox News shared by President Donald Trump on Truth Social, a source familiar with the 45th president has claimed that he “loves the idea of testifying” before the Jan. 6 Committee.
The news comes just after the partisan panel voted on Thursday to subpoena President Trump as part of their ongoing “investigation” into the events that took place at the U.S. Capitol Building on Jan. 6, 2021.
Per Fox News’ exclusive report, the unidentified source told the outlet that if Trump were to comply with the subpoena from the committee, he would reportedly discuss election fraud and committee corruption. The report added that Trump would bring up Nancy Pelosi’s refusal to allow the National Guard to secure Washington D.C. and Capitol Building, despite his authorization and recommendation to do so.
