Ingredients
1 1 Package Vanilla Wafer Crackers – crust
1/4 cup 1/4 Granulated Sugar – crust
1/3 cup 1/3 Butter – for creamier add extra tsp – crust
32 oz 32 Cream Cheese (4 packs) – batter
1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 White Sugar – batter
3/4 cup 3/4 Milk – batter
4 4 Eggs – batter
1 cup 1 Sour Cream – batter
1 tbsp 1 Vanilla Extract – batter
1/4 cup 1/4 All-purpose Flour – batter
Directions
- Put your Vanilla Wafer’s in a zip lock bag and smash them all really good, dump into bowl
- add your sugar and your butter
- Mix it up very well and set aside
- Put all your cream cheese in your mixer bowl and mix on low speed, be careful not to over mix
- add your sugar and continue mixing
- add your milk and continue mixing
- add all 4 eggs, ONE AT A TIME and continue mixing
- add your sour cream and continue mixing
- add your Vanilla Extract and continue mixing
- add your flour and continue mixing making sure there are no lumps, you want it nice and creamy
- take your mason jars and start putting the crust on the bottom layer, I use the 12oz or the 8oz, it doesn’t matter which ones you use, I have done it in all of them.
- pack down the crust layer really good
- fill each jar almost to the top with the batter so the jars don’t float
- Sous Vide at 185 F degrees for 1 ½ hours
- I know when done you will want to eat them LOL do not do that yet, refrigerate over night.
- Take a knife around the jar inside and put on a dish and top with whatever fruit filling you like, I use cherry pie filling.
- These are absolutely to die for and everyone will love them, I promise you
- They freeze beautifully
Notes
- You will need a Sous Vide to make these
