nlike the Biden administration, 45th President and leading 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump is continuing to care for and protect the “incredible patriots” of East Palestine, Ohio weeks after a train derailment led to a significant release of toxic chemicals in the area.
In a one-minute and fifty-six-second video posted to his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, on Monday, Trump vowed to keep fighting for the people of Ohio and demanded “political leaders” care less about optics and actually help and “do a fantastic job.”
“Biden and FEMA said that they would not be sending federal aid to East Palestine. You know, that’s a great place. It’s in Ohio. They don’t respect it and they don’t respect the people, but I do. They’re incredible patriots,” Trump began.
“As soon as I announced that I was going, he announced a team would go. And now FEMA is going and everybody is going to do everything they can to solve that mess that happened so unnecessarily,” Trump added.
