president Donald Trump has called for the Jan. 6 detainees to be released in light of the explosive reporting on the Capitol security footage by Fox News star Tucker Carlson.
During Carlson’s show on Monday night, he played unseen footage from Jan. 6 that proves the claims about the events from the Democrats and their media allies were a lie, as Slay News reported.
In response to the bombshell, Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) denounced Carlson and Fox News, accusing them of lying.
Trump said: “Congratulations to Tucker Carlson on one of the biggest ‘scoops’ as a reporter in U.S. history.
“The New Surveillance Footage of the January 6th Events sheds an entirely different light on what actually happened.
“The Police story is sad and difficult to watch. Let them go free, now!”
Schumer, whose false narrative has been exposed by Carlson’s reporting, said: “Mr. President, last night, millions of Americans tuned in to one of the most shameful hours we have ever seen on cable television.
“With contempt for the facts, disregard of the risks, and knowing full well he was lying, lying to his audience.
“Fox News host Tucker Carlson ran a lengthy segment last night arguing the January 6 Capitol attack was not a violent insurrection.
