McCarthy: Democrats ‘Really Want Obedience,’ Not Unity

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy accuses Joe Biden of disguising a democratic agenda as a plan for unity.

In a recent interview, McCarthy slammed a number of recent steps and proposals by the new administration. He questioned how there could be unity when Biden halted plans for the Keystone XL pipeline — a move that kills jobs and increases the cost of energy.

McCarthy also slammed Biden’s decision to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord and World Health Organization as a one-sided move. He said Americans want to get back to work and school, so the GOP is willing to work with Biden on that unity agenda.
